Alaska here we come!!!
The trip of our lifetime began at Foodland in Coldwater where we met with Will, Andrea, Al and Pat at 8am on Thursday, June 10th, 2010. Andrea's son, Derick was there to take some candid photos of us before we mounted up! Please don't look at the sign too closely. Someone went a little wild with the "a and m" in the word "dream"! Anyways, we rode for approx 10hrs that day and ended up in Wawa. It was a long day but uneventful and we only experienced some drizzle for about 10mins. We travelled around the shore of Lake Superior and along the Montreal Hill. The scenery was spectacular and we find northern Ontario very beautiful. We stayed in these cute little cabins in Wawa and ordered supper to be delivered which was nice as were all tired and didn't want to get back on the bikes again. It was a great first day with great friends!! There was no internet service so I am entering this information the following day.
