When we left Valemount we were in the Rockies, however as we travelled, the land changed from mountains to rolling hills, large deep valleys with many horse farms, cattle ranches. The Rockies could still be seen in the far distance though. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had to watch out carefully for wildlife today. We spotted a moose, many deer and 2 bears!! When Grant was leading the group a huge black bear ran across the road right in front of our bike!!! Scary for several reasons!
After supper we went for a walk around the little town of Houston which has the largest fishing pole in Canada. So far we have travelled 4,423KMs!
haha I'm sure Ian wants a fishing pole just like that one :)
