Finally we are in the Rockies!!! I have really missed them since last being here three years ago on our trip to the Calgary Stampede! They are just so beautiful and magnificent. We travelled through Jasper National Park and saw quite a few mountain goats in the middle of road!! In Jasper we went up the Jasper Tram to the top of a mountain which was over a mile high. There we had lunch and enjoyed the beautiful view! It was quite chilly up there, temp 6'C compared to 18'C on the ground. Stopped at the Overlander Falls for about an hour, very pretty! The water in the river was raging and a beautiful bluish,aqua colour!! There is still quite a bit of snow on the mountain tops.
We saw Mount Robson which is the highest mountain in Canada! Breathtaking!!! Time has changed for us several times along they way and we are now 3 hrs behind Ontario. Time to head to Houston, BC in the morning!!
