Stopped at Kakabeka Falls just outside of Thunder Bay. Another hidden mystery of beauty seen here! There is an Indian legend of these falls in which an Indian princess that was captured by another tribe and while they tried to trick her to lead them to her tribe so they could kill them all, she lead them down the falls. Some say she died with the other braves that went over the falls, others say she survived and was able to warn her tribe of the impending massacre.Reached the Manitoba border and it was amazing to see how the landscape abruptly changed into the prairies! We hit rain about 10mins before our hotel. Walked down to Perkins Restaurant for supper which was a 3km round trip, so we certainly wore off our dessert!!
